Horizontal Axxis Wash System
Bosch's exclusive horizontal Axxis wash system gets clothes unbelievably clean. With double the spin speed of conventional washers, clothes emerge needing less drying time, sparing them from the damage of excessive heat or overdrying. Combined with its remarkable water efficiency, the Axxis adds up to hundreds of dollars in savings per year.
SENSOTRONIC® II PLUS
The Bosch SENSOTRONIC II PLUS package optimizes the wash process at every stage of the cycle. SENSOTRONIC technology senses load size, water level and temperature needs for superior results. Digital sensors care for all fabrics including wool, mohair and silk. This machine virtually operates at the touch of a button.
Dynamic Load Sensor
The Dynamic Load Sensor ensures precise water levels for your wash load. Based on the size of the load and how much water your garments absorb, at predefined points during the initial fill stage, a pressure switch determines if more water is needed. This "auto load adjust" guarantees water conservation.
Temperature Sensor
The digitally controlled Temperature Sensor is constantly monitoring the water temperature. It controls the internal heating element guaranteeing the precise water temperature throughout the entire cycle for perfect results.
Suds Sensor
The Suds Sensor assesses the degree of suds in the drum. In the event of excessive suds it automatically adds up to an additional 2 rinses to remove any remaining detergent from the load. The Suds Sensor ensures your clothing is completely rinsed and free of detergent residue.
Unbalance Sensor
During the final spin of a cycle, the washer will monitor the positioning and balance of your wash load. If your load is out of balance, then the washer will stop and adjust the load up to 15 times reducing the spin speed to finish the cycle. This process is made possible by the motor synchronization system that measures irregular spinning (fast/slow) or vibration.
High Efficiency Tumble Action Wash System
With no abrasive agitator the Bosch Axxis washer design incorporates a horizontally mounted drum that utilizes high efficiency tumbling action to gently lift and plunge the clothes through the water. Wash cycles range from the normal Regular/Cotton to the Intensive Power Wash for your toughest stains to the cradling action of Hand Washables. Throughout each cycle digital temperature sensors and controls ensure precision washing.
Detergent Efficiency System
The Bosch Detergent Efficiency System in the Axxis and Axxis Plus washers contains laundry detergent within the active washing area of the system: the Eco-Ball rises and seals off the sump and stays in this position until the drain cycle. Further, it prevents heavier detergent from settling into the bottom of the sump before it is dissolved. Therefore, the recommended dose of detergent is maintained in the system for better cleaning and "unused" detergent is kept from entering into our water ways.
